Who can take part?

The 2019/2020 Challenge is currently open to any school, wherever it is situated in the world.

What are the age ranges? 

There are two age ranges in the Challenge, as shown below: 

Junior Challenge 2019/20: Any child who is attending Primary School and is aged 11 or under on the day of the World Final (17th June 2019).  

Senior Challenge 2019/20: Any child who does not meet the critera for the Junior Challenge and is not over the age of 16 on the day of the World Final (17th June 2019). 

We reserve the right to request the date of birth of participants. 

How does it work? 

A participating school will need to purchase a licence to use the required software direct from Maths in Motion Ltd, or one of its representatives. 

The Challenge is based on the cloud based version of the Cars Maths in Motion software, software that will under continuous development. 

Throughout the year, events will be held which include knockout rounds and a World Final. All of these events will be online. In addition, there will be just for fun events and monthly competitions.
